22 ounce bottle into tulip. Pours crystal clear reddish brown color with a dense 1 finger khaki head with very nice retention that reduces to a ring of lacing. Small amount of lacing sticks to the glass as well. Aromas of huge caramel, toffee, molasses, cherry, and some breadiness. Very surprisingly nice aromas with good strength. Taste of big caramel, toffee, spices, cherry, and breadiness. A very small bit of tartness and funkiness was noticed as well. Lingering sweet notes of caramel, fruitiness, and light spices that last for a bit after the finish. Medium carbonation and medium-full bodied, with a fairly creamy mouthfeel. Excellently masked alcohol for 8%, with only a very slight warming after the finish noticed. I am not sure if they put Brett in this or not; but this is definitely excellent with highly complex flavors, and great drinkability for the level of alcohol.
