Good easy drinkin hard cider. Fairly fermented out, not a whole lotta sugar. Hides its alky content well, you’d never know this is over 5%. Could kick your ass if yaer not careful.

Clear, very pale yellow with clinging bubbles and a quick, superficial white head. Aroma of apples. Taste is tartly appled.....an artificial feeling thickness. Not enjoyable.

Sampled at the 2013 Chicago Cider Summit. Pours a clear watery gold with no head whatsoever. Aroma is quite thin with just a hint of tart apple. Flavor is also quite watery with just a bit of apple coming through.

Bottle. Strange chemical/petroleum apple aroma. Pale yellow with a fizzy white head. Dry green/underipe/jollyrancher apple and artificially tart flavor. Light fizzy body, dry finish. This makes the third cider I’ve tried from this company, and all of them are overly and artificially tart with the addition of malic acid and "enhanced" with natural flavorings. I guess they don’t think apples have enough apple flavor. I won’t be trying any more of their ciders.

Bottle @ home picked up at Wilbur’s Foco. Pour looks like Chardonnay, very light whitish yellow, clear appearance with a bubbly head that is gone in no time. A touch spicy, dull apple core, slightly grassy, herbal aroma that isn’t really all that interesting. Tangy, lightly tart but fairly sweet apple juicy, light pear, sugary, a touch herbal flavor. Eh, not horrible but not super good either.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Colonial Wine and Spirits, 4/30/12, (same label as the picture except that it says it is only 6.9% alcohol)
Aroma: The nose has a good amount of apple, with some dry characteristics
Appearance: The pour is a completely clear light gold color (reminds me of white grape juice)
Flavor: Tastes sweet and fruity, some tartness too, this is somewhere between a cider and a wine
Palate: The body is light, but not at all watery, with average carbonation, and slightly tingly finish
Overall Impression: This is an alright cider. I didn't love it, but then again, I don't love most ciders. It was kind of different in that it had that slightly wine-like characteristic to it that you don't see in a lot of other ciders.

bottle labeled Joker Hard Cider and 6.9%. Pours light yellow with no head. Aroma is tart green apples and sweet cider. Flavor is dry as hell with high carbonation, like a brute yeast. Tart apple skins through and through.

Bottle for $3.69. Bottle marked as 6.9% ABV. Pours with a small fizz of white and one of the most clear, near white, pale golden colors I have seen outside of a few Austrian Ciders (Obstbau Reisetbauer comes to mind). For a "Champagne like premium cider" this smells awfully candied with jolly rancher apple. C02 and some sulfur as well. A bit of green artificial melon. Not good. Taste is a mixed bag of Jolly Rancher Candy. Sticky and cloying, with sour tartness. Nothing like any sort of european cider they are trying to copy. I think the Joke is on me for buying this, I should have known better than buy an cider that has added flavoring not from apples! Thin and fizzy.

Bomber from New Beer. Payed $4.25 for the privilege. Poured into the same Sly Fox tumbler I’ve been working all night. Cap flies off the bottle with a nice lava flow of smoke. Pour is stiff, but the blank white head fades faster then before. Barely a twinge of yellow in the glass. Color is lighter then the rest of the line. Smells just like their sweet tart perry. I’m so tired of this stuff. Maybe it comes off a touch rounder, with less alcohol & sugar, but it still feels like the same base attempt. Taste is somewhat different, finally. Big acidic crab apples & canned apple juice from concentrate. A little lemon sourness, a bit of salt, & some oxidation. Sulfites remain relatively in check. ...But wtf is this "natural flavors" at the bottom of the ingredient list?! Carbonation is working well. Slight tin feel, with a dry finish. Decent belly burn without much noticed on the palate. Best of the bunch I think.
