Bottle at home just fishing the last of supermarket shelves unticked. Light cider pour. Nose is tart apple and perfume. Tastes of decent Granny Smith, light flowers, lime, residual sugar. Too much sugar but overall not terrible.

12 oz. bottle. Thanks Thomas! Pours clear, pale green, with no head. Distinct tart apples, vanilla, cloves, and light lemon. Sweet and fruity up front, with a good tart bite in the finish. Light body, with a crisp and acidic mouthfeel. Not a bad cider. The tart bite is pleasant and easy, and there’s a little more complexity here than most ciders.

Pretty nice. Balanced sweet/tart/tangy apple flavor. Light lingering acidic finish. Very refreshing/good complexity. Light-med carb. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Granny Smith Draft Cider on 20 Jun 2016 at 19:28 - Score: 6. Original review text:

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Pours a clear pale straw color with almost no head. Smells of granny smith apples with a touch of pear. Taste is more of the same. Watery though, not enough carbonation. Slightly sweet. Dry finish.

355ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours pale yellow gold with a short-lived white foam head. Aroma of green apples, sugary, sweet fruity. Taste is sweet apple, tangy & juicy, with some tartness. Crisp mouthfeel, light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish with some residual sweetness. Quite OK.

Bottle from Tesco, Longford [181114]
Extremely light straw green, thin white head
Aroma of sugar, vague apple
Taste of very soft apple juice, sugars
Palate - Medium carb, thin body, rather sweet. Finish - more apple juice in the afters which is quite juicy, flavour of the apple is quite nice but simple
Overall - The apple flavour build up with the drinking, more flavour in the finish. Would drink this over Bulmers any day.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a pint glass and a wine glass.
The appearance was the same in both as there was a slight hazy orange to yellow color with a fast rising carbonation rolling into a quickly dissipating white bubbly head. Lacing, no way, not there, ah but I’m starting to understand ciders don’t do lacing. Okay, well, no big deal, I guess.
The smell was slightly tart but also a decent sweet apple. Was there some floral-ness in there? It seemed so to me.
The taste was mainly tart and sweet, combined pretty good.
On the palate, this one sat pretty light and could be construed as fairly sessionable. The normal harshness from a cider is there but just there and isn’t anything overbearing.
Overall, decent cider, nothing over the top and nothing bad.
