Bottle, 75cl, blue. The oily pour leaves a clear drink with a pinkish hue and no head. Berryish nsoe with honey notes. Sweet flavor with berry sweetness, some honey, raspberry and a papery touch. Medium, almost sticky mouthfeel. A decent one, but nothing more in my book. 091024

Bottle, 8%. Mildly chemical, plasticky, waxy aroma. Clear pink colour. No head. The flavour is sweetish, berry-like and slightly waxy. I guess it is drinkable, but not my kind of mead.

Amber color with red shades; still. The aroma is very flowery, with some honey and reminding some fruit candies, strawberry jam. Medium body strength, sweet but it gives me saccharin or sweeteners, light fruitness. Strange, not to say fake and confusing.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear pinkish with an off-white head. Fruity aroma wiith a whiff of honey. Medium boney, sweet honey and almonds. The berry notes are discreet but evident. Pleasant - but not something I could drink a lot of. 220909

New rating: 2/9/10; even better than the first time. Old rtating: (2.7) From a bottle at the Vintage Estates in Boardman, nice place. Reddish pink with what looks to be some carbonation within! Sweet fruity aroma, overall a very nice and attractive presentation prior to tasting. Surprizingly there is some carbonation on the palate during the sipping, very welcomed. Lighteer and less viscous than other meads. I am fairly sure this was the raspberry and not the boysenberry but the bottles on this site look exactly the same. Anyways, there is a slight raspberry flavor on top of the typical mead wine attributes. That carbonation sure does add enjoyment to these meads. Decent sweet wine finsh. Tho not an expert on meads, this is the best I’ve ever tasted.
