Black with a lasting tan head. Roasted aroma with liquorice and toffee and dried fruit. Sweet roasted flavour with a full body. Vineous complexity.

Tap. Opaque brown color with beige head. Aroma is raisins, figs, port indeed, but nicely balanced. Taste is the same, not too sweet or boozy, dash of tartness, quite nice. Soft carbonation, a bit chewy. Nice!

Cremig malziger Beginn, süffig. Spritzig, sehr weiche Herbe, viel Kaffee. Röstnoten, spritzig, langer malzig-röstiger Abgang. Gut! 10/11/12/12//12

22/IX/23 - on tap @ Borefts Beer Festival Day 1, BB: n/a (2023-575) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Clear dark brown beer, small brown head, unstable, a bit adhesive. Aroma: nice, good roast, malty, grains, oxidized, caramel, some soy sauce. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: good roast up front, bitter, a bit oxidized, coffee, dark chocolate, bitter hops, good! Aftertaste: caramel, bitter, coffee grit, hop bitterness, harsh roast.

Bottle at THT August. Very dark brown with light brown head. Chocolate, soft herbs, roasted malts, blackberries, indeed some soft figs, ashy. Solid medium sweet and bitter, very light sour. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation.
