Mild aromas of fruit and a hint of smoke. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, smoke and fruit come out more, add in a touch of cinnamon. Don't pick up the hops. On the sweet side. Not bad not great.

On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours deep red. Berry, cinnamon, floral, little smoke, little heat, lots of sweet berry. Medium body. Nicely balanced.

Keg at Whole Foods Wauwatosa, 9/22/16. Hazy red thin fizzy off-white head, fair retention. Aroma of chipotle, smoke, hay, dry honey. The taste is cherries, honey, peppers, smoke. Thin. Reminds me of chicken wings.

Sampled at the meadery this mead poured a red color. The aroma was semi-sweet with hot peppers and yeast. The flavor was sweet and yeasty with hot peppers and a hint of band aid. Long finish. Medium body. Odd.

375ml bottle from Kingdom Liquors, split with Meadme. Couleur rubis sur une fine effervscence. Arôme présente une subtile note épicée des chipotle, léger cloying avec un rétro-nasal fleuri et une pointe de fleur de houblon. Retrouve un fruité ds mûres qui reste léger. Palais offre une belle note de chaleur des piments sans être surfait. Mûres percent discrètement pour un fini sec où l’on note le côté ds houblons avec une pointe de douceur résiduelle. Miel se met d’avantage en avant sur la fin tandis que les mûres continuent à être plus en retrait, peut-être normal pour un hydromel de 6%.
