375ml bottle courtesy of and shared with Meadme. Pâle. Arôme est léger offrant une note de lime-citron vert, léger au niveaud e la menthe. Léger avec une agréable présence de levure belge. Ayant un peu d’age ce dernier semble avoir perdu un peu de son caractère menthe. Palais est léger, et je m’attendais à pire. Agréable citronné vert, assez frais, profil pétillant sur une note belge venant de la levure. Menthe légère apportant un profil frais. Miel perce en retrait. Pas aussi mauvaise que j’avais espérer, mais quand la comparaison des bières copiant le mojito n’est pas fameuse je m’attendais au pire. Reste cependant une combinaison spéciale pour un hydromel.

Plastic smell. Very pale yellow. Plastic lemon lime flavor. Lightly spritzy. This is like drinking Sprite out of a plastic bottle, but tasting more of the bottle.

Bottle shared by obguthr, 8/30/14. Pours a very pale yellow with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of floral notes, lime, honey, melon. The taste is lime zest, pumpkin (oddly), honey, melon. Thin bodied, mild carbonation.

Sample at the Hoppin’ Frog Tasting Room. Crystal clear pale golden color with a minimal head and decent legs on the glass. Aroma of citrus, honey and mint. Medium-bodied with flavors of lime, floral honey and mint. The finish is fruity with a mild minty aftertaste. Does a decent job capturing the essence of a mojito. Decent overall.
