A ‘Pyment’ (pie-ment) is a mead made with grapes. This one is made with clover honey, shiraz grape juice, and natural wildberry concentrate. It is full bodied and semi-sweet. Makes a great sangria or try it over ice as a spritzer.

Bottle @ Redlight Redlight. Crystal clear ruby red color. Aromas of berries and grapes. Very sweet berry and vinous flavors. Light to medium body. Very sangria-like. A nice mead when taking a break from beer.

Sampled at the 2010 GTMW. Poured a pinkish rosy red with no head. Aroma was mainly honey though there was a nice underlying berry and grape note. Flavor began sweet with honey but growing berries and a hint of grape meld nicely.

Courtesy tpd975. It pours clear rosy red. The aroma is rich dark sweet berries, some honey meadness and faint chemical booze / heat. Nice. The taste is sweet smooth slick and yummy going from a sweet berry goodness to a sort of drier red wine like note and then back to smooth honey / mead berry decadence. Yum.

Thanks a lot to our favorite beekeeper, tpd975 for the share. Reddish like color, no head aroma, lots of berry goodness, floral and blossom, sweet nectar flowers. flavors, wild berries, boozy, light palate compared to previous B-Nektar. I found the berries to be a tad too over the top, taking away from some of the honey aspects. Still a fine tasty mead.

Bottle via a trade with TheCheeseMan. Pours a blood red to purple body with medium legs. Aroma is sweet with berry syrup, grape, kool-aid, and blackberry. Taste is sweet, fruity, berry syrup, honey and a boat load of alcohol (but I like the burn). Very, very, very, hot with a syrupy mouthfeel.
