Piney, resinous and punchy. A massive IPA brewed with hop oil extracted from Citra and Simcoe pellets, giving a dank finish with loads of hoppy goodness.

Can from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with an off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of orange and toffee apple. Flavour of caramel, menthol, honey and grapefruit. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. This looks and tastes like a hoppy amber ale to me. I enjoyed it.

Can. Amber with a large near white head. Aroma of kumquat, pine, breadcrust, some mango skin & grapefruit. Fairly sweet with berries joining the citrus and pine. A bit old fashioned until the moderate bitterness at the end. Tasty but there's a facade-like feel to the hops.

Tall can from Winerack at home. Spotted at stores while in NZ but never got it, glad to try now. Dark copper ruby pour with creamy off white head. Very dank aroma with candied pine hops. Taste is similarly huge pine dankness - Simcoe? - with a big biscuity malt backbone. West coast style. Smooth palate with light to medium carbonation. Quite good.

From a 440ml can on 30/5/2020 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a a clear deep golden with a small to medium head. The nose is very resiny and piney. The flavour features caramel and biscuit malt, with a firm pine/resin hop finish. The palate is a slick and a touch oily, the carbonation moderate. A fairly bold, hoppy and enjoyable IPA.

440ml can. Minimally milky, amber colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, white head. Resinous and piney, hoppy aroma, caramel malty background, notes of pine, spruce, coniferes in general, a touch of peanut, citrusy hoppy overtones with hints of mandarine and orange. Taste is moderately bitter, piney and resinous hoppy, minimally citrusy, slightly sweet, caramel malty basis, notes of pine, spruce, some lemon, a touch of orange zest and mandarine, lingering bitter hoppy finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, prickly carbonation. Very clean, compact, homogeneous. Good.
