Bottle from a supermarket. Sweet brown malt, caramel, dried fruits, raisins, some candy sugar, yeasty notes. Sweet, mild bitter. Medium body. Good Dubbel actually.

Swingtop bottle 0,45 ltr: Dark brown coloured brew with an dry bitter taste with some lingering sweetness. Hints of caramel, dried fruits, some coffee. Almost uncommercial, decent one.

Chestnut color with a nice tan head. Sweet malts, full flavor, caramel, rum, red-fruits and a decent bitter hoppy finish.

0.45 l bottle from 'AH XL' (Eindhoven), best before November 2022. Clear, deep ruby with a medium large, foamy, stable, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently fruity, slightly yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, raisins, overripe banana, nuts, light clove and a touch of coconut. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, gently fruity and slightly yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, raisins, prunes, overripe banana, nuts, some clove and traces of coconut, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, smooth, slightly creamy and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very pleasant Dubbel, has a good balance between sweet malts, fruitiness and yeasty flavours.

Just not a super clean beer. A bit stale, lacking a full complex body. Albert heijn Amsterdam

Fles thuis gedronken. Amberkleurig bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma is moutig en karamel achtig en iets kruidig. Smaak van karamel kersen en zwarte bessen. Nasmaak is karamelachtig en ietsje bitter.

Dark brown colour with lasting head. Aroma is a little metallic and had some caramel. Flavour has caramel sweetness also some raisin and a little liquorice.

Donker roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is zoet en licht bitter met iets van chocolade, karamel, rozijnen en kandij. Gewoon goed.
