Keg at 16 Tun, Auckland. Pours clear pale gold with white foam. Aroma: sweet grains, lemon citrus, grass. Taste: towards moderate sweet with similar bitterness, floral, grassy. Light to medium body with soft carbonation.

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and malt, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a slightly hazy golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, gluey, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, yeasty, light toffee, mineral, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours a bright yellow, with brief head. Aroma is floral with white wine vinegar. Taste has plenty of hay, grass and vinegar. Problem is it all comes at once, and the finish is cloying syrupy sweet. A good pilsener is fresh, clean and above all crisp. There is too much flavour here trying to do too much, and the mix is far too messy. A real struggle to finish.
