This heavy hop profile ale gets its citrus and peach aroma from both Simcoe and Citra hops. These Washington state hops have a tropical flavor and a piney finish. To add balance and flavor, caramel malts were added. A true West Coast IPA made in SC.

6.9% ABV, according to the can. Classic old-school West Coast IPA, full of caramel, orange, grapefruit, and pine, with a chewy malt sweetness offset by a massively bitter, resinous hop bite. Some bread and wet malt undertones pop up behind the hops on the finish, but the fade is pure West Coast hop vitriol. Vicious, but good.

Can: Slightly hazy amber-gold with a frothy white head. Aroma of toasty, leafy malts. Taste is fairly bitter, darker grains, lightly smoky resin. Different.....earthy.

Can. Orange, caramel malt, and orange peel aroma. Amber with nice head. Moderately sweet caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel and grass flavor. Good body.
