WILD BLOND BIER MET EN JAPANSE SIERKWEE
Wild blond bier met verse hop en Japanse sierkwee. Minne is gemaakt met kleine kweeappeltjes uit het voedselbos. De kwee is het symbool voor liefde en vriendschap, iets of iemand beminnen, je hart openstellen. Het plukken van de appels vraagt toewijding, want ze klampen zich stevig vast aan dichte takken met lange doorns. Je hebt geen keus dan ze zachtjes en respectvol te benaderen, bijna zoals je een geliefde zou aanraken. Minne is ontstaan toen Wouter van voedselbos Ketelbroek ons ruimhartig de hele oogst van een slecht appeljaar schonk, twee linnen tasjes vol, net genoeg voor een mooi bier. Het volgende jaar zag gelukkig meer appels, en daarmee meer Minne.
Minne is een rijk en kruidig wild blond bier met een lichte moutigheid en mooie pepertonen. De Japanse sierkwee laat zich proeven in toetsen van citrus en appel, terwijl de afdronk een fruitige bitterheid biedt van de verse hop van onze lokale hopteler, waarin ook het aroma van de pitten doorsijpelt.

330 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. Hazy / murky yellow-ish colour, some floaties, moderate white head. Aroma of quince, pears, apples, citrus, farmhouse. Moderately fruity sour flavour, notes of said fruits, dust and malts. Hints of black pepper.

Bottle. Unclear golden body under a small white head. Aroma has pale malt, grain, fruit, lemon and a bit floral. Taste is floral, slightly harsh, yeast, lemon, lemon peel, some herbs and slightly funky. Medium body and same aftertaste. Pretty unusually, need some time to settle and probably more interesting than god, but still fun to taste.

Pretty clear yellow blond to beige beer, no head. Aroma: very nice, super fruity, pear juice, bit soapy, floral, juicy, sweet impression, rose water, floral, some honey, some Turkish delight. MF: pretty soft carbon, medium body. Taste: nice acidity, very fruity, juicy, honey, slightly soapy. Aftertaste: slightly bitter, orange peel, spicy touch, fruity, peaches and apricots, some cherries, marzipan touch, plantain, yeasty touch.
Paired very well with the sea bass poached in black tea.

Bottle 75cl. present from Pieter, thanks pal. Murky yellow ocre colour, fair frothy white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma brett, barnyard, citrusy hops, light quince, earthy notes. Fruity taste, medium sour and light sweet, apple, quince, yeast, earthy notes. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, mild sweet and sour aftertaste, bit yeasty, peppery on the tongue, another nice one from Nevel.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dotata carica, torbida, schiuma bianca medio-leggera. Naso con note di frutta bianca, mela annurca, pesca noce, leggero vinoso, pollaio. In bocca è equilibrata, gradevole, con acidità fresca. Corpo medio-leggero, carbonazione medio-leggera. Buona.
