Sample at the brewpub. Pours a nearly opaque brown color with a bit of red around the edges. Medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film, and sticky spots of lacing. Aroma of bready malt and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of toasted malt, caramel, nuts and a bit of sweet fruit. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft: Pours red-orange, heavily clouded, with a quick white ring. Nutty, caramel aroma...slightly smoky. Caramel malt, biscuit,...very malty taste. Some smoke in the flavour as well. Pretty good...
