Pours cloudy, light amber with a short tan head. Aroma is caramel, pine, fruit. Taste is caramel with a pine bitter. Fairly simple, but not a bad flavour. Pleasant sweet/bitter combination. Light.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a golden-amber color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was faint vague fruits. The flavor was bitter butter, biscuit, and had a sour off undertone. Medium length sour, bitter and somewhat off finish. Medium body. Unfortunate.

Floral bouquet, even blend of marigold and lilly. Hazy amber, very fine floaties, medium head. Lilly dominated flavor, somewhat bitter. No transitions and straigthforward. Rather distinctive in that there is a dearth of APAs that are exclusively floral, without a trace of citrus hops. I prefer the citrus, but it’s refreshing to have an alternative. It also doesn’t hurt that the price is relatively cheap. Excellent value, pretty good beer.

Sweet mildly hoppy aroma. First taste yeilds a processed hoppy bite that approaches many IPA. Lagerlike in its feel. Seems much more than 4.5%. Hop bitter bite does build on the back of the throat, fer sure. Yes, chewing on green grapefruit rinds does enter my mind. Fades fast at first then hangs on in a manufactured kinda way. Does have slightly less than average carbonation. Seems to be a pretty hoppy beer from the lion.

Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a minimal white sudsy head and aromas of flowery soap and citrus. Flavor is washed out and watery, but does hold a nice balance of light biscuit malt and floral hops with a bit of a soapy aftertaste.
