This beer is called Heksen & trollen, that translates as Witches & Trolls. Why? We know why but we don't tell! The beer is a Saison, an old Belgian and northern France beer-style. At high temperatures fermented to make it very spicy and refreshing. Lots of citrus in the taste, but with a bitter finish. Light cloudy, blond. Formally known as White Witch

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear golden color with thin creamy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of pineapple, passion fruit, citrus, yeast, wine with slight funky note. Taste starts refreshing grainy and fruity with light sweet malt, following is funky and grassy, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. Saison as it has to be...

Tap at RJ. Aroma intense fruity, citrusy, tangerines, zest, spicy. Light bretty horse blanket. Almost clear golden colour, quite stable white head. Taste showcases similar flavours as aroma. Very nicely balanced, very easily drinkable. The citrusy zesty hops complementing the saison spice and light bretty barnyard. Very good.

Hazy golden beer with a thick, fluffy white head. Sweet aroma of yeasty tropical fruit. Flavour is very dry. The citric fruit stops just short of tart but it’s very bitter. One of the more bitter varieties of orange in there. Aftertaste is lemony and short-lived. Tasty and distinctive, but very much a sipper.

bottle at home as part of European Local Swap 2/2015 from RW80, many thanks. yellow light hazy color. small white head. smells citric / acidic, light rubbery, some sweetness, herbs and spices, light smell of exotic fruits. OKish smell. light body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. taste of ash, citric, acidic, light rubbery, rather herbal & spicy, some flowery notes, oranges. rather strong dry herbal/citric bitter finish. taste & finish is too herbal (bitter), finishes lasts rather long. actually after the finsh subsides (after some minutes) a more pleasant fruity / citric aftertaste comes through (too late though).
