This beer is called Heksen & trollen, that translates as Witches & Trolls. Why? We know why but we don't tell! The beer is a Saison, an old Belgian and northern France beer-style. At high temperatures fermented to make it very spicy and refreshing. Lots of citrus in the taste, but with a bitter finish. Light cloudy, blond. Formally known as White Witch

On tap at Pudel, Tallinn. Hazy golden to orange with a white. Fruity and yeasty aroma with somewhat floral (almost soapy) notes, herbs and hints of citrus, spices and juniper. Moderate sweet with some acidic notes, quite flavourful and a moderate bitterness. Tasty and refreshing.

Bottle at Boudewijn, Rotterdam, Saturday 14th March 2015 in company of Dad & Barry Hazy yolky, gold/orange almost glows with a white foam on the top. This is a rather assertive hoppy IPA, soft mouthfeel but any farmhouse elements are battered by a hoppy onslaught. I guess the yeasty edge lends itself to Saison but overall it could almost pass muster as an IPA. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.7

A golden beer with a big and blond head. The aroma is fresh and great, oranges and blood grapefruits, also other fruits and some tropical fruits, some sourness and black peppers. Taste is fruitful, citrusfruits, sourness, nice bitterness, some spices in the end. Medium bodied, quite strong carbonation that is nicely balanced with a fresh appearance. Very good beer, refreshning and sour (citrus)fruity saison.
