Bottle. Color: Clear dark ruby, very thin beige head. Aroma: Sirupy, Vinuous red wine, notes of dark and red fruit, some roasted malt. Taste: Lightly sour and moderate to over moderate sweet red wine (Marsala), roasted malt, notes of coffee, red grapes, some oak wood, hints of licorice. Light bitterness. Bit boozy. Bit sirupy. Very nice complexity. At one moment the vinuous Marsala are slightly stronger, at the other moment it's just a little bit more Porter-like. One to take time for to fully explore all flavours. Very nice.

Growler at Rootz Winterbierfestival. Bit hazy dark brown with small brown head. Deep roasted notes, chocolate, strong grapes and boozy sweet wine, vanilla, coffee, bit earthy. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with soft carbonation. Tasty.
