Medium brown. No head. Nice butterscotchy diacetyl aroma. I mean that's a lot of fucking butter. And it's kind of that rancid butter. On the palate, still there. Certainly there are dark malts and a decent bitterness under that thick blanket of diacetyl slime. There's a beer there, but that butter infection is pretty horrific.

355mL bottle, pours a deep dark brown with a small beige head. Nose is dominated by diacetyl—damn is that egregious—with a touch of roast. Flavour is pretty offensive, with intense diacetyl that is only slightly covered over by the malt; not much hop content. Very messed up and difficult to drink.

355mL bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Buttered popcorn, toasted malts, and some soft pine on the nose. Flavour has some toasted malts, dry pine, and a lingering chemical bitterness. Long lingering diacetyl aftertaste. There is some decent black IPA here, but it's smothered to death by diacetyl. Unfortunate.

Tap, BP Cantina, Tijuana. Pitch black, medium beige head. Lots of tropical fruits, pineapple. Moderate bitterness, very dry actually, herbal finish. Lighter body.
