Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of roasted malt, nuts, caramel and sauerkraut. Pours cloudy dark brown color with thin creamy light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts, with light to medium sweet roasted malt and caramel, following is citrusy and vinous with sauerkraut note and mild bitter finish. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. C’mon, I like tart ales, but not sauerkraut porters…

On tap at Pivo & Burger Fest, Ljubljana. Pours pitch black, topped with a smaller beige head, pretty lasting. Pleasant although a bit too gentle malty nose with chocolate, some caramel and a bit of roastiness. Mild bitterness upfront, some malty sweetness and medium roastiness. Medium body. A bit too gentle but very drinkable.
