50cl Blik van de brewpub. 6.8%. Bijna zwarte kleur, beige kraag. Fruitig, hint van aardbei, licht bloemig, wat koffie, caramel, licht zuurtje, tabak, zachtzoet, degelijk bitter. Lichte body. Erg mellow voor een BIPA.

Bottled. Black colour, mediumsized beige head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is tropical fruits, citrus, some dark berries and mild chocolaty tones. Flavour is chocolate, some fruits, ripe fruits, berries and also mild ashy tones.

Dark brown to black colored, unclear, medium tan frothy head. Aroma is of some roasted and chocolate malt, bit caramel, moderate citrus and floral hops. Taste is medium sweet malt, bit caramel, some roasted and chocolate notes, medium citrusy, fruity and floral hops, medium bitterness, dry finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, oily. Pretty good BIPA. (on tap, brewery taproom, Bovec)

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of Dalibor. Aroma of citrus, melon, caramel, berries and yeast. Hazy dark brown color with large creamy tan-like head. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel, follows by dried fruit and roasted malt, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is pretty bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Good enough, but too mich malt oriented, while hops are not so pronounced...

Pours pitch black, topped with larger beige head, pretty lasting. Gentle fruity nose with tropical fruits, citruses and some blackberries here and there. Chocolate malty back stays in the back. Moderate bitterness, some fruity sweetness to go along it. A bit roasty in the finish. Lasting aftertaste. A bit lighter body. Decent BIPA.
