Ipa este o bere ușoară de tip Ale a cărei aromă și gust sunt formate în principal din soiurile de hamei americane, cu note distincte de grapefruit, portocale, pin și iarbă verde. Acest tip se distinge prin intensitatea gustului și a aromelor, care pot părea prea intense pentru consumatorul nepregătit. Cu toate acestea, majoritatea consumatorilor după ce au gustat acest tip de bere, nu au ezitat să o guste din nou, datorită gustului complex, care nu are asemănare. Se potrivește perfect cu preparate picante, pastrami, burgeri, cartofi prăjiți, precum și cu deserturi din ciocolată.

Flight at the Airport. Amber beer, small head. Aroma is citrus, malt, hops, tropical fruit. Taste is the same, bitter, light resin bitter, citrus, hops. Nice

On tap at Lumencraft Chisinau Airport, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out crisp piney hops, dry biscuity malt and a hint of a metallic character. Flavour is crisp and dry, with bitter citrus and piney hops, a crisp biscuity malt, and metallic notes. Bone dry and rather astringent, but it's crisp and drinkable. Okay.

Part of the flight at Smokehouse in Chisinau. Pours slightly hazy orange-golden, topped with medium offwhite head. Tropical nose, peachy - quite nice and intense. Very aromatic IPA. Nice and solid bitterness, quite dry. Lasting aftertaste. No sweetness to be felt. OK IPA, though not a great one.

Danke an Dorin. Spritzig grasig bitterer Antrunk. Hell holzig, deutlich Orange und Limette. Getreidig, die frische Hopfigkeit lässt spürbar nach. Frisch bitterer Nachgeschmack. 10/11/9/11//10

500ml on tap at Chișinău Airport. Pours hazy gold with a medium-sized white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, caramel malt. Taste is medium bitter, citrusy hops.

Light citrus and pine with some carmelized malt. Golden pour with decent head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Decent IPA. Tap at smokehouse.

DEC-2018. TAP at Lumencraft Pub, Airport. Rich sweet spruce resins - smells savory. Similar taste - really savory swett and resiny spruce. Smooth body and buttress. Nice. 7-4-7-4-15=3,7.

JUL-2016. TAP at Chișinău Airport. Hazy amber, creamy tan head. Fresh sweet grapefruit in the nose, zest and some resin, and just a touch of cookies. Fresh and clean. The taste start with some vanilla cookies, but gets bitter and dry soon, classic grapefruit zest bitterness, smooth and clean. Not ground-breaking, but no faults either. (IPA might be an overstatement). 7-4-7-4-14=3,6.
