Pours a pitch black color, topped with a large beige head that quickly starts settling down. Mild roasty aroma with just a hint of dar chocolate, but it growns much more prominent if you let the beer sit for a few minutes. Taste is mildly sweet with chocolate notes and mildly roasty as well. QUite decent hoppy bitterness in the finish. Nice creamy and silky body. A good stout, very drinkable, but would expect more pronounced chocolate character. Still very nice.
