Pours a dark brown color, slight ruby undertone, topped with a medium sized beige colroed head. Roasty malt aroma, some caramel presence in the back. Very light body, slight roastiness and mild bittery finish. Not unpleasant, but it doesn’t offer much taste. Still drinkable.

330ml bottle at home. Deep dark brown body with a medium off-white head. Smell of lightly roasted grain and malt. Initial dark caramel flavour followed by roasted cereal notes. Underlying malty sweetness. Soft carbonation and medium bodied. A rather sweet black beer, but drinkable (thanks to Finn H. for bringing the bottle back from Alko in Finland) (21.04.2007).

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a pretty, clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow and an off-white head. Some roasted malt in the aroma. Medium body with lightly roasted malt., dry with a light bitterness. An easy drink if not exactly thrilling. 151206

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. Clear, brown beer with a small, beige head. The aroma is quite boring, just some roastiness and caramel, and the same goes for the flavor. Thin body and some hints of alcohol in the finish. (060826)

A deep red beer with a slight hazy under a thin disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet dusty combined with notes of berries, while the flavor is sweet dusty with notes of straw being most dominant.

Bottled. Dark red, almost black colour with brown foamy head. Chocolatish aroma with hints of bitterness and weak roastiness. Strong hoppy flavour with roasty finish. Hints of old coffee and bread too.

Bottled (BB 01/2006)
Dark nut brown, mostly vanishing brown head. Aroma is slightly malty and hoppy with plastic tones. Medium-bodied. Roasted malts with some hoppy bitterness, like mixing cheap pilsener to dark lager. Very German feel in this brew. Dry, hoppy, slightly harsh aftertaste.
