Unser Hanfbier ist ein untergäriges, dunkles Spezialbier. In der Schweiz waren wir die Allerersten (1996), die Hanfbier produzierten. Hanf hat schon lange den Weg in die Lebensmittelindustrie gefunden und ist ein sehr vielseitiger Rohstoff. Da er, gemeinsam mit dem Hopfen, zu der Familie der Hanfgewächse gehört, ist es kein Wunder, dass er sich auch hervorragend zum Bierbrauen eignet. Neben den ausgeprägten Hanfaromen sticht eine leicht malzige Süsse hervor. Durch den Einsatz von Röstmalz, erhält es zudem angenehme Röstaromen. Unser Hanfbier ist selbstverständlich THC-frei.

Pours amber, a bit darker shade, topped with a decent tan colored head. Malty aroma with dominant herbal presence. Tste starts sweet, some caramel notes and herbs, bittery, spicy in the finish. Not great, not unpleasant. Soemthing in the middle.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a huge light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as a light note of weed, leading to a dry and spicy finish.

Dark amber color. Strange aroma, herbal and spicy (black pepper). Light body, some caramel taste, dry; a bitter touch of herbs and some black pepper spicyness. Strange, but not bad; correctly brewed.

(Bottle 33 cl) An organic, dark blond hemp beer - well, it had to come eventually. Unfiltered and lightly hazy, small, dense and quite stable head. Sweetish, almost fatty beer, but at the same time dry and aromatic with only a discreet bitterness. Lovely spiced from the hemp. Very nice indeed. 120702
