Dark amber coloured, small to medium sized beige head, interesting cherry and chestnut nose indeed. Sweet malty, sourish cherries are dominant, notes of glue and chestnut with notes of cinnamon and agai cherries in the finish. Much better than radler style and even more interesting. Pleasant surprise.

Pours a dark ruby brown color, topped with a small and quickly diminishing off-white head. Initial aroma of sour cherry syrup, followed by very pleasant christmasy notes - star anise, cinnamon, and some more. Taste starts with mild fruity sweetness, followed by herbal notes (probably of chestnut) and moderate bitterness. Definitely a step in the right direction by this macro brewery.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear ruby brown color with thin quickly diminishing tan-like head, no lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of chestnut mash, sour cherry and grassy hops. Although it seems a bit artificial, aroma of different fruits is very complementing each other. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and chestnut, following is a bit more refreshing sour cherry, mouthfeel is a bit spiced up, while finish is mild bitter. Light to medium body, sticky texture and lively carbonation in palate. Very interesting flavors, however still a bit radler-like beer, so I have mixed emotions about it...
