There’s something about Lagers. It’s by far the most sold beer style in the world. There are too many varieties to count. And, everyone has an opinion about them. Whether it’s ’I don’t like beer’ meaning ’I don’t like Lagers’ or it’s ’That does not taste like beer’ meaning ’Beer should taste like Lagers’ or just knowing what brand or what Lager style you like among all those styles. We’ve done quite a few Lagers here at Dugges. As the general population, everyone here has their different goto style. So, we’ve catered to many tastes. For this one we just wanted to keep it really crisp, really clean, and really dry. We wanted to, as you say, keep it simple. We wanted to just, with all the hard work that entails, make a Pils. So, that’s what we did.

33 cl can @ home, BBE 03.05.2023. Rated on 4.5.2023 Aroma has cereal-like malt and grassy hops. Also hints of honey. Flavour has grassy and dank-y hops, some mild cereal-like malt. The hop profile is unusual for a pils. Easy-going and crisp.

Canned (from KCM Stenhaga, Vasa). Yellow colour, small white head, which leaves good lace. Aroma is floral, grassy, mild herbal and earthy tones with some mild bready elements. Flavour is bready, herbal, some earthy and grassy notes. Smooth and rather crisp.

Golden colour, small white head. Grainy, some citrus peels in the nose. Light-bodied. Flavour has similar citrusy flavours over the grainy base. Clean solid modern hoppy Pils. More IPL it is.

Body: Medium body and carbonation.

From tap @ Brewers Beer Bar, GÖteborg. Poured clear golden in color. Grainy malts, hay, quite dry. Ok pils.

Strågul lett tåkete med hvitt skum. Lukter lyst brød, smør og noe lys stenfrukt. Middels fylde. Smaker grapefrukt, sitrusskall og lyst brød. Lett bitter avslutning.
