Can from Brendan's Brewtique, Bristol. Dark brown in colour, with reddish undertones and a frothy, beige, head. An easy drinking, rather light-bodied stout, with some prune, chocolate, liquorice and charcoal, before a gentle finish. Fine.

Cask @ Salopian, the pub. Pours deep ruby, mocha topping. Nice smoky woody flavours, light liquorice, soft treacle sweetness, distant ashy notes. Nice stout.
