In this version of Florida Style IPA, we used calamansi (0.6%) a combination of sour tangerine and Japanese kumquat. This fruit is very popular in Florida, where it is added to dishes and drinks. In taste is very sour and has a high content of vitamin C. Sour, hazy and calamansi. What would IPA be without our favorite hops, Citra and Mosaic duo.

Bottle from Stanislaus Brewskovitch, Zwolle. Aroma is tart fruit juice with topical fruits, citrus, passion fruit, lemon, and soft wheaty malt. Flavour is tart, medium sour with a little sweetness. Body is medium. Pure tart fruit juice, very nice.

White, bit disparate head, fast gone over fully hazy, very lively carbonated ochre beer. Perfumey, fruity notes, obviously citrus. Demure, but not bad. Bit sweet for an IPA. There's a dry bitterness that probably hails from the calamondin juice. Lime peel, kafir lime. Light, well carbonated, oily feel. Not half bad! Thanks to Stef!

Geel licht troebel bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht friszuur met iets van citrus en sinaasappel. Goed drinkbaar lichtzuur bier met een fijne bitterheid.

Tap at ‘Cause Beer Loves Food. Hazy light golden with white head. Lots of fresh citrus, light yoghurt, doughy notes, some dank hops, light roasted corn, gooseberries. Medium sour, under medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied. Quite nice!

500 ml. bottle @ Gollem. Golden, small soapy white head. Nose is lactic big citrus peel, lemon, lime, clean sour. Taste is sour dough, IPA is bit lost veering to a basic sour with lime peel, low lemon peel, juicy, almost acidic, basic citrus peel which dominates, tasty interesting bit vague beer, doughy, sour bread,.. Thicker soft carbonation beer, more of an interesting basic sour with some lime qualities. Fun.
