Can. Little Leeds Beer House. Soupy, light amber colour. Thin and super sticky, glossy, lasting, white head. Lots of legs. If a beer could look dangerous, this is it. Nose has rich and thick, stewed fruits. Loads of ripe pear and cooking apple. Peach and mango. Some walk in the woods on a wet day, pine cone. Earthy and fresh at the same time. Sweet malts come with a cinnamon and vanilla background. Taste is predictably sweet and rich, with a spicy, piny bitterness. Mouthfeel follows suit, feeling sticky, rich and pretty full on, although I’d probably guess this was less than 10%. Finish is long and spicy, and sweet and bitter. Bonkers, but in a very good way.

Can at home, 24/03/18. Murky orange with a well presented egg shell white head. Nose is sticky tropical fruits, yeast drool. pine resin, orange wine gums, dextrose, light spice, charred pineapple, hint of diesel. Taste comprises sweet malts, fleshy tropicana, mango pulp, papaya, light pine tickle, sticky pineapple chunks. Medium plus body, fine massaging carbonation, semi drying close with a rising boost peppered with sweet, juicy, sticky hop bitterness. Decent enough DIPA but not from CW's top draw ... just comes across a little overly sweet and becomes a touch cloying in the 2nd half ... can't say I'd like to reach extra time with this one which isn't normally the case with CW DIPA's!
