Seeking out some haze? pFriem Hazy IPA has tropical aromas of clementine, peach, strawberry, mango, and papaya, and juicy notes of grapefruit, white grape, and whipped citrus. Creamsicle meringue rests atop a mysterious body of grilled mango and haze. If you’re looking for haze, you’re in the right place. Clearly!

500 ml bottle from Tavour, 12/2/19. Pours a hazy golden color with a thick, creamy foam of white head that coats the glass in lace. Bright anf fruity hops (mango, peach, a little pineapple as well), with some fresh cut grass. Lightly dough. Sort of a cream soda thing on the finish. Nice stuff. Kinda drinks like a hazy IPA thats wants to be a pils. Also, drinks more like 5-6% beer than something bordering 8%. Very drinkable. 7/4/7/4/16

Pour is a kind of hazy gold with tons of floaties and a large white head. Aroma is a decent tropical fruit with a little honey malt sweetness. Flavor is some pithy citrus with a slight sweetness and bitter pop. Probably not going to win any awards in the category but still pretty tasty.

Hazy, pale yellow, thin head, big orange/tangerine aroma, same taste, no bitterness. A bit sweet but nice fruit character.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
7.9, 35 ibu on untappd Murky blond colour. The aroma is moderately fruity, lightly floral, light vanilla. Smooth mouthfeel, moderate amount of residual sugars, the malt base is delicate and it seems on point, but the hopping is weird, mellow fruits upfront, stone fruit, candied orange peel, touch of citrus zest, followed by annoying chicory bitterness.
I understand that this imported beer can't be fresh, but the good local hazy IPAs perform better even after many months.

Orange with white head. Citrus aroma and flavour. Everybody is making New England IPAs and I suppose Pfriem had to as well.
