We have brewed this 10% beer to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. It is a rich, smooth dark amber beer with spice, blackcurrant, herbal aroma & hints of grapefruit & lychee. There is a distinct bitter taste which gives way to the sweetness of the three malts used to brew the beer.

500ml bottle. Pours dark ruby brown with a small head. Aroma is dark berries, Ribena, a bit yeasty and stony. Taste has fruity dark berries to start. Malty mollasses and Ribena on the finish. Boozy aftertaste.

500ml bottle from Appleyards. Pours a generally clear mahogany, diminishing off-white head. Aroma is bright rich fruity. Taste is oily light with good fruity nuances, caramel, sweet malt.. good drinkability, excellent balance of flavour, very enjoyable barley wine.

12/2/2019. Bottle from Tuffins Supermarket, Craven Arms. Pours clear pale amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of toffee, malt, fruit, hops and fruit cake. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Medium to full body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Sweet finish, very much like a barley wine. Liked this a lot

Bottle from Tuffins, Craven Arms. Clear amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, fruity and light alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Oily. 110219

Bottle from Tuffins, Craven Arms. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, hops, flowers, berries, little spices and has a warming finish.
