Cask at Bird in Hand, Stafford. Pours a light amber with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is just some vague berry fruits. Mango and hops are prominent in the mouth, plus some races of apples, but it’s all a bit thin and watery. So far its, bland but drinkable, but the sting is in the tail ! The finish starts off simply bitter, but then degrades into a yucky citrus / yeast combination that least a taste on the tongue you can’t get rid of.

Relatively average golden ale, pours very slightly hazy light gold, with a small frothy white head and a mild, fruity aroma. Mouthfeel is on the thin side, there's hints of peach and floral hops, and some tart bitterness

Cask half @ Salopian, the pub. Pours clear gold, small blotchy white topping. Aroma is lightly fruity, pale malt. Taste is fairly light, almost no bitterness, soft peachy shades, gentle fruity complexion, quaffable golden ale.
