This smokey smooth chestnut ale has a sumptuous lemony aroma rounded out with toasted sugars. Its nose develops to encompass tart apple freshness and some light malt wisps.

500ml bottle from a shop in Devon somewhere. Pours clear mahogany, thin off white head. Aroma has very distant caramel. Very light carbonation, light caramel, light bitterness, fairly bland verging on watery, distant nutty shades. Quite poor.
