Sentinel. In case you hadn’t noticed, we’re absolutely massive fans of Simcoe here at Polly’s. Arguably the hop that changed craft beer forever deserves all the plaudits, and we’ve decided to showcase it here with a single-hop behemoth of an IPA. We dumped a massive 25kg of Simcoe into this beer and the result is an IPA absolutely bursting with everything we come to expect from this incredible hop – piney and resinous on the nose, but an explosion of tropical fruit notes on the palate. Simcoe, it goes without saying we absolutely love you.

Danke an minutemat. Frischer, grasig hopfiger Beginn. Herb-hopfiger Mittelteil, erhöhte Karbonisierung, alkoholisch, vergoren fruchtig. Fast unsüffig intensiv, die Karbonisierung stört. Dunkel hopfiger Schluss. 9/11/9/10/10/9

Can, at Christianssand Brygghus. It's a pale orange colored beer with a nice finger thick offwhite head. Some lacing. The aroma has pale malts and a touch of white bread, but mostly it's grapefruit, pine cones and grass, with some orange notes. It's full to medium bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dryish, with a decent bitterness. Pale malts, pine cones, grapefruit and a light grassy notes in the flavor. Lasting finish. A refreshing and quite tasteful one indeed. 190807

Can from BrewDog Lothian Road. Hazy golden body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of peach and orange. Flavour of peach skin and dried grass. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Not as great as other hoppy Polly beers I’ve tried.
