At Craft Bier Fest Wien. Strong peaty aroma and taste. Full bodied and heavy sugary caramelly sweetness. Very tasty and very good. Lacks a bit of complexity though.

Smokey, some phenols, honey, leathery (fish). Taste is sweet, salty, woody, smooth. Very sweet. It has sweetness, and it has smokeyness, but the interplay does not work out perfectly.

500ml bottle @ ISKTR

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of peaty whisky, hints of cheese, honey, earthiness and oak. Taste is smooth, sweetish and peaty with hints of whisky, wood, vanilla, oak and toffee. Finish is smooth, sweetish and peaty with hints of oak and toffee, loads of warming alcohol. Interesting.

From bottle at Wiener Bierfest. Brownish, hazy body, with almost no foam. Aroma of whisky, turf, smoke, earth, dried fruits like raisin, resin, brown sugar, caramel, honey. Taste with about the same aromas. Mouthfeel is full, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes sweet, sticky, bitter, slightly earthy, slightly acidic and alcohol warming. Interesting heavy stuff! Pretty sweet and sticky but still with a good balance. Very filling, had just 0.1 l, but that was enough.
