A classic, very English, malt-driven bitter that is smooth in body and sweet in taste.
The Hood features native Minstrel hops to impart subtle spiced berry flavours.

Cask @ The Bhurtpore Inn, Aston, Cheshire. Pours chestnut brown, small off-white topping. Malt-lead nose, earthy, nutty. Taste is similar with a good wholesome grainy nutty malt character that blurs the lines between bitter and a light brown ale. Lovely beer for these autumnal months.
