Cask at the St. Ives 'Booze on the Ouse' beer festival, 2017. Pours mahogany brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, nut, dark fruits and toffee. Moderate sweetness and medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Cask @ St Ives Boozeon the Ouse festival. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, licorice, hops and has a nice bitter licorice finish.

Decent porter, no real complexity but pretty solid

Cask @ Salopian. Pours dark, ruby hints, frothy pale tan head. Plummy aroma. Taste errs towards the fruitier end of things with pleasant malt, little roast and a mild bitterness with light choc shades. Ok but rather tame.
