West coast pale beers are now famous the world over. This is our example of the style. A simple but carefully considered malt base allows the huge hop and dry hop additions to shine. Initially poured big tropical aromas escape from the glass. Take a swig and your senses are assaulted by tropical fruits and a resinous mouth feel from all of those hops. The initial hop hit leads to wave after wave of thirst quenching lupulin drenched bitterness. Citrus and sunshine.

Keg at Beer in Hand, Hereford, Saturday 31st October 2015. A little dusty hop at first but this soon opens up to be a decent hoppy APA, furry bitterness across the roof of the mouth and a lingering dry finish. Soft in the mouth, some hard lemon pithiness, itโ€™s good, but there is still a little dusty hop, however this does little to temper my enjoyment, a fine beer. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
