Can from HOTM. Deep almost black colour with a tan head. Aroma roasted malty and coffee. Light sweet taste. Smooth body.

Rocky light brown head left a cover on a deep mahogany coloured body. Coal, tar & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lighter clean back. Malt, tobacco, burnt, smoky, lactose & fruity tastes with a short tangy finish. Standard

Half-pint by cask, shared with Finn at Euston Tap. Upper part lacing from a covering beige head, black body. Roasted malty nose, mid-sweet, promising. Chocolate flavours, vanilla lactose beneath. Smoothly roasted ending, not overly sweet. Pleasing to a certain degree. (London 07.02.2020).

Can from the brewery. Smokey coffee aroma with a creamy edge and underlying dark berries. Dark cola brown. Creamy beige head. Initial sour edged sweet vanilla creaminess. Then bitter coffee/chicory takes over and on into the finish, maintaining a sour edge. Medium bodied. Creamy, if thinnish. Average carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Decent stuff.

Delt med Rune. Lavt lysebrunt skum. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Spor av røyk. Smaken som aromaen. Litt lakris etter hvert. Lite bitterhet.
