Named after the mythical Norfolk gentleman Jack, who would knock on doors across the county and leave gifts for Valentine’s Day, however would disappear into thin air just as quickly as he appeared.

Lucid golden amber with a seductive aroma of apricot and peach, this hop bursting ale has early notes of spice before a glorious affair of grapefruit and orange pleases the palate. The finish pleasantly lingers longer than a kiss with inviting citrus flare.

Cask @ Salopian Bar, Shrewsbury. Pours a misty amber, off-white head. Souring aroma, some grapefruit hop. Taste is quite bitter, with noticeable grapefruit hop presence, some citric nods, but tarnished by an unpleasant tired bitterness. Couldn’t finish.
