Made with Equinox hop Varity and a high percentage of Rye Malt. Mouthwatering malt back bone with alluring rye spice and Equinox hop aroma. An excellent example of a Rye IPA.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [240117]
Copper red, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of spicy cereal, dab of caramel
Taste of spicy caramel malts, some bitter zest hops, bit toasty, the hops are mainly bitterness and a bit spicy, not that distinctive
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, bitter hops, good palate. Finish has quite a bitter linger
Overall - Quite decent, but Equinox hops seem a bit forgettable tbh

330ml bottle from trade with beersiveknown. Pours a clear amber with foamy pale tan head. Aroma is caramel malts, earthy rye, faint tobacco. Taste is fairly light bodied with some bitter tobacco from the rye. Some hop shades. Decent Rye IPA.
