Not your traditional Danish Xmas ale but a crisp, dry and bitter west coast IPA with a bit orange peel to give that warm and cozy holiday spirit. Hops are Tomahawk, Simcoe and Centennial; unfiltered and unpasteurized.

Bottle from Alko Arkadia. Originally rated on 28.11.2009. Quite unusual for a Winter beer, but still a nice IPA.

bottle thanks to Papsoe in the Secret Santa box, pours hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet citrus, bitter rind and toast. Flavor is pale grains, toast, juicy sweet and slightly bitter citrus hops, finishing with a clean hop bite. Nice beer.

Hazy light amber with a lasting white head. Aroma is caramel, malty and hoppy, citrus, peach and grapefruit. Flavor is rather sweet and very bitter. The finish is dry and bitter. Nice IPA to break some of the sweetness from other christmas beers, but it has very little to do with christmas. 021210

6th May 2010. Copenhagen Beer Festival. Cloudy gold-amber beer. Not much head. Crisp dry palate. Fresh tart grapefruit - orange hop. Not overly bitter. Finishes dry and crisp with an aftertaste of more of the same. Nice.

Bottled (brewed at Sogårds Bryghus, BB 06/2010)
Thanks to sayravai for this one! I am drinking this XMas in the longest day of the year :)
Slightly hazy orange color, good creamy off-white head. Aroma is resiny hoppy bitter with hints of grains and rye. Good malty body. Sticky fruity American style hoppyness, but palate is quite mellow. Lychee, pineapple juice. Tasty, maybe finish is already a bit watery (compared to other parts).

Draught@Plan B, Copenhagen. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, hoppy, grassy and also has some mild spiced notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Very nicely balanced Xmas seasonal.
