Cask @ Shrewsbury Beer Festival, Nov 14. Immediately drawn to the ace pump clip artwork and ostensible Fall reference in the name. This one-off brew I hear was supposed to be 8.5%, but it tastes about right at 5.5. Pronounced root ginger in aroma and taste, kept expecting banana due to the name and can’t help imagining what it would’ve been like with a little sneaking behind the ginger. Subtle lemon instead. Nice beer.
