Shortlived white head over unclear, faintly orangeish golden beer. Herbal, pale malts, grains, grassy nose. Sweet; pale malts flavours, slightly grassy. Served cool, rather refreshing despite the present restsugars. Rather plain - but nowhere bad, a satisfying light beer. Txs to Joren for bringing!

Bottle at the shop. Clean golden with a solid head. Aroma is sweet citrus. Flavour is sweet malt, grass hop, a bit too sweet.

500ml bottle from a corner shop in Kreuzberg, Berlin. I used to be into hardcore-punk in my youth so I still have a soft spot for the music when it’s done well. This is a beer brewed for hardcore record label Core Tex’s 25th anniversary and it’s probably the complete antithesis to the music.. smooth, drinkable, slightly sweet with lemon becoming more prominent the further you go. It’s standard German Helles, light & grassy, and designed to be drunk in large volumes by HC kids.
