Our first creation: a subtle blend of sweet apples with floral notes, bitter apples and just a hint of perry which gives it its unique flavour. Fruity but not too sweet, dry, and with a slightly tart finish.
Produced 70km away from Paris by our cellar master who pampers his fruits.

75cl bottle shared with Soph. Pours clear gold. Fleshy stewed apple toffee aroma. Quite crisp with noticeable apple skin / apple core coming to the fore, nice quenching drinkability with a great keeved fruit character, hints of brown sugar and toffee apple. Nice balance. Maybe a hint of dusty perry pear tannin, pretty decent overall.

Bottle shared at home. Sweet and dry apples, tart juices in between. Sweet and quite clean, some dry cellar funk, some dry yellow apple peels. Quite sweet and quite dry and bitter. Medium body and soft carbonation. Easy going sweet cider with very dry edge. --- Beer merged from original tick of Le Brut on 09 Jan 2020 at 23:11 - Score: 7. Bottle from Monoprix, shared. Clear golden with short lasting white head. Dry apple, dry apple peel, mossy, light mineral, bone dry dusty cellar, gooseberries, fresh green leaves, more crisp dry apple. Light sweet and tart. Over light bodied, bone dry. Seems more dry than the Xtra brut... Quite OK for 4.7%
