Canned 11/8/24, drunk 12/2/24. Clearish, dark chestnut with deep garnet. Large tan head to spotty cover. Coffee is darkish, fairly roasty, not all that fruity but not stale/ashen. Some dirty or maybe just earthy notes, kind of lactose-forward. Not much malt for its abv... Indeed it's creamy in the nasty lactose way. How about making it creamy from a rich maltiness instead of a shitty, gross, adjunct sugar? Super light, adjunct sugar induced body does not provide what I'd expect for the abv. Moderately roasty coffee, done well, with a dearth of malt and more lactose lingering. Its no Special Double Cream Stout, that's for sure.

Can thanks to Russell. Pours a dark brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is cocoa, cracker, roast, vanilla. Slick body, roasted malt, cracker, vanilla, dry finish, very good.

Draft at Drafting Table. Pours a pitch black with a finger of beige foam that lingers. Lovey coffee driven nose with cold brew, espresso and light vanilla cream aromas as it warms. Smooth on the palate with roasted malt, coffee and creamer and some cacao nib notes. Smooth and robust flavors on the palate with a slight warming finish. Great coffee stout.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has a nice coffee note with sweet grains and a hint of roasted malts underlying. Flavor combines sweet dark grains and coffee with a hint of roasted malts backing.
