If Sweet Stout of Mine reminds you of your childhood, its Barrel Aged version definitely represents your teenage years. After spending 5 months in Jack Daniel’s barrels, this Imperial Stout got an edge to it – and it’s not a phase, this is who it is! Still as sweet, blissful and fun, but now joined by all the complex additions of wood and whiskey – a bit like you when you were 16.

THT January. Bottle. Black with light tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, deep roast, espresso, oak wood, some whisky. Sweet and bitter. Over medium body and soft carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle at THT January. Clear dark driwn with small dark beige head. Massive Jack Saniels notes, sweet malts, milk chocolate, toffee, roasted malts, toffee. Quite sweet and over medium bitter. Full bodied with slick oily feel.
