Sigtuna Skogen är en limiterad utgåva där man låtit sig inspireras av skogen. Resultatet är två stycken öl av motsatt karaktär, där ”Sigtuna Skogen Dag” är en ljus ale av kryddig och blommig karaktär där färgen av orange kommer från nyponet.

Inför lanseringen av Sigtuna Skogen har man låtit konstnären Ragnar Persson tolka respektive öl med skogen som inspirationskälla. Flaskornas etiketter är utformade efter det mytomspunna kring skogen och dess mystik.

(Bottle) Pale orange colour, slightly hazy, with brief off-white head. Fruity, spicy nose with notes of white bread, clove, honey, apricots and elderflower. Fruity, spicy taste with banana, white bread, clove, honey, apricots and a fairly low floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made Belgian pale/blond. Nice one.

Flaska från Systembolaget . Disig mörkt gyllengfrägad vätska med lågt skum. Doft av vete, jäst, fläder och marsipan. Stilmässigt åt wit-hållet. Vitt bröd, jäst, blommiga smaker med lite rosenblad och en sötma med marsipansmak. Gott.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy light orange with a white head. Aroma of yeast, some bread and light rose hips. The same in the taste. The bitterness was light.

Bottled, from Systembolaget . Hazy pale orange colour, small head. Aroma of elderflowers and marzipan. Mid dry with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. White bread, marzipan and notes of rose hips. Low bitterness. Quite elegant.
