We brouwden een Doppelbock met Pühaste, maakten er een Icebock van en legden het een half jaar op Amerikaanse Bourbonvaten. Een prachtig zoetig bier van 17,2%; ga daar maar eens lekker voor zitten.

33 cl bottle @ Timo A, no BBE info Aroma has chocolate, roasted malt and alcohol. Feels intense. Flavour has chocolate, roasted malts. Finishes with alcohol and licorice notes. Shares some elements with american strong ales. Good, hides the ABV well.

Bottle split at the 'fuck me it's Kenny; tasting, thanks to Ken - Watford, 25/06/21. Light murk on an amber pour with a faded beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, fruit cake, booze tunes, toasted brown sugar. Taste comprises figs, dates, toffee, molasses, mellow bourbon, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a punchy kick of booze. Sips fine for 17% but you could argue it lacks some depth for the high boost ... as is oft the case with this genre of bier.

Bottle shared in Watford - cheers to Kenny! Pours lightly hazed brown with a thin foamy cap. Big and sweet unsurprisingly, some dates, figs, nips of vanilla, toffee, booze, a little wood. Full bodied, oily and chewy, soft. Hot finish, notes of toasted sugars, dried berries, caramel, bourbon, bread, figs. Enjoyable but pretty darn boosty.

25th June 2021 Tasting at Fergus gaff. Thanks to me. Light haze on this amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Caramel malts, a little cream. Ripe fruits, touch of bruised fruits. Ripe fruity bourbon. Spicy alcohol on the back end. Not bad for the abv but other than delivering that, it is unremarkable.
